About Rosemullion

Having grown up near Rosemullion Head off the Cornish coast of England, Heather’s father named the first of his family’s dairy farms, at Merino in south west Victoria, Rosemullion.  When Heather and Greg bought their farm in the picturesque Goomburra Valley in the eastern Darling Downs in 2001, they named it "Rosemullion" also.

The wrought iron Rosemullion sign which followed Heather’s family from farm to farm to its last farm at Mt Buninyong in Victoria, today adorns the front verandah at Rosemullion.

Heather and Greg have run a small herd of crossbred cows, raising Red Angus-sired calves, initially as “weekend” farmers, since 2001.  In 2012 Heather established the Rosemullion Red Angus stud, founded from twelve high quality embryos implanted in high performing crossbred cows.  Having retired from full-time teaching at the end of 2013, Heather’s energy is now focussed on the production of outstanding breeding stock for beef production in Queensland and New South Wales.
